Almost everything written for us begins with survival and stops there. This does not. I came through eleven bad years — that part is in one of the books, and it is there if you ever want it — but it is not what I want to talk to you about.
I want to talk about the part nobody prepares you for. Wanting someone, and letting yourself. Walking into a room without making yourself smaller first. Looking at your own body and liking what is happening to it.
Three books, because one life turned out to have three of them in it. And one course, because people kept asking me the same question — not “how did you survive”, but “what exactly do I do on Monday morning”.
